Tree Terps is the flagship product of Brightside Botanicals.  This steam distilled 100% Pure Essential Oil is crafted in small (& often strain specific) batches from the finest plant material.  The result is a robust and complex capturing of the plants essence.  Tested & certified by Steep Hill Laboratories, our oil is mostly terpenes and contain NO cannabinoids like THC or CBD.  Click Here to see some of our test results.

This Concentrated Terpene-Rich Oil Captures the Full Spectrum of the plants Terpene Profile, is made without chemicals or solvents, & has been tested as Cannabinoid-Free.  It can be diluted into concentrates, topicals, edibles, beverages, tinctures, and extracts; diffused for aromatherapy; & more.

Each terpene has it's own unique medicinal properties as well, both for the plant (such as guarding from pests) as well as the patient (including analgesic to anti-inflammatory properties)*.  According to SC Laboratories “Although less well-known than the major cannabinoids, terpenes are instrumental to the physiological and psychoactive effects of cannabis. The  relationship between terpenes and cannabinoids, known as the “entourage effect,” ultimately differentiates one strain
 of cannabis from another.”

Tree Terps captures the plants unique terpene content and bouquet in its natural form and ratios.  For instance, our "Goo" oil has a very high level of beta-mercyne present & much lower levels of other terpenes while our Blue Dream tests with high levels of Alpha and Beta Pinene.  Our "Cheese" oil has a more evenly distributed array of terpenes including Limonene, Beta Caryophyllene, & Linalool.  Patients are now able to modulate their medicating experience to their needs and desires based on specific terpene profiles.

Even though the oil contains no cannabinoids, the oil can in fact have a profound impact on how cannabinoids are received and processed by people.  Terpenes can modulate the effects of cannabinoids, a symbiotic relationship referred to as the "entourage effect".  As can be seen in the test results below, each plant variety has it's own unique combination of terpenes that gives that plant variety its smell, taste, and effects.  SC Laboratories has created a wonderful guide outlining the main terpenes which we've included below.

This diversity in application is one of the many things that excites us about Tree Terps.  Whether using just the oil alone or in conjunction with cannabinoids, the myriad of possibilities for use sets Tree Terps apart from the rest.  Contact us today for more information.
